Diagnostic Services

Flow Cytometry

UniPath operates a state-of-the-art flow cytometry laboratory. Our flow cytometry laboratory and our hematopathologists serve several cancer centers including one of the largest non-academic bone marrow transplant centers in the U.S. The pathologists supporting our flow cytometry laboratory are subspecialty board certified in hematology and have extensive experience with flow cytometry and complex bone marrow cases.

We offer comprehensive immunophenotypic analysis specific to hematopoietic neoplasms. Flow cytometry is performed on fresh bone marrow aspirate and peripheral blood submitted in sodium heparin or EDTA. Flow cytometry is also performed on lymph nodes, bone cores and other soft tissue submitted in RPMI including body fluids submitted fresh.
